Four Wheelin'

John Patrick got his first four wheeler from Nan and Papi Carson for Christmas. He was scared to death of it when he touched the gas pedal. Well, now we cannot get him off of it. He needs to working on his steering and using both hands but this was only his second evening riding. He is such a joy and we are excited to add another little boy to our family!!

Back in Florida

Sorry it has taken soooo long to post a blog, but moving stinks. We are sort of settled in our home in Jupiter, FL, I still need to decorate. Hope to have that all finished by the end of the month. Well, we are happy to be back with our dearest friends who we missed much but now farther away from family. I guess you can't have everything!! We are enjoying the weather and being around our friends, especially since we all have little ones running around or are expecting!! That makes it soooo much easier when we all get together.

Last night we joined some friends in Abacoa Town Center for the Antique Car Show and Oldies Concert. John Patrick loves cars; however, he was upset no one would let him in the cars. Him and Olivia loved the band!! They danced and ran around and wore themselves out, love it!!!

Yo Gabba Gabba

John Patrick goes nuts everytime "Yo Gabba Gabba" comes on. It is his new favorite show besides Sesame Street or anything to do with Elmo. He is so much fun and full of energy. Enjoy the videos.

'Tis the Season

Here in Pittsburgh, we have enjoyed some beautiful winter wonderland days. These pics were taken the day before Thanksgiving. Our home is literally on top of a mountain, so it seems like we get an extra couple of inches of snow. The Carson Clan traveled to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving, since the Mountaineers were playing Pitt over the holiday. Plus it helped that we are only 15 minutes from Heinz Field. It was soooo nice hosting everyone. Mom will get her chance over Christmas.

Well, John Patrick is getting bigger and brighter by the second. Last night while I was showering, he climbed out of his crib to find me. I was sooo shocked to see him and he just smiled and waved at me. I was just happy he did not hurt himself. After I got my pajamas on, I put him back in the crib, so he could show me just how he did it. As soon as he stepped foot in that crib he grabbed the side and swung his leg up, grabbed the edge with his toes and worked his way over. I guess it is time for the toddler bed. He has no fear, soon I guess he will be climbing all the gates we have put up. He is no longer a baby, he will be two in February.

Well, I hope everyone enjoys there holiday with family and friends. Be safe and remember to always BELIEVE!!!

Orlando Trip

The Martin family just recently took an awesome vacation to Orlando. One of my favorite places to visit. We took the little monkey to Disney World!! He loved it, he was on rides I would have never thought he would like. He truly had a magical time, as did the rest of the Martin clan. Thanks to Grammy and Pops Martin for a wonderful family vacation none of else will forget.

John Patrick wore his daddy's 1981 Mickey Mouse shirt, the one his daddy wore on his first trip to Disney World. How cool!!!

Cars, Cars and Cars

John Patrick is obsessed with cars and trucks. He loves playing with them, riding them and watching them. He will lay down on the ground beside his truck or car and watch the wheels to make sure they are working properly. Plus, they all have to be on the hardwood floor, they will not run as fast on the carpet. Well, he still says mommy, daddy and doggie but that is about it. Thank goodness for sign language!!! They say that boys are delayed and before you know it you wish they were not talking soooo much.
