Yo Gabba Gabba

John Patrick goes nuts everytime "Yo Gabba Gabba" comes on. It is his new favorite show besides Sesame Street or anything to do with Elmo. He is so much fun and full of energy. Enjoy the videos.

'Tis the Season

Here in Pittsburgh, we have enjoyed some beautiful winter wonderland days. These pics were taken the day before Thanksgiving. Our home is literally on top of a mountain, so it seems like we get an extra couple of inches of snow. The Carson Clan traveled to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving, since the Mountaineers were playing Pitt over the holiday. Plus it helped that we are only 15 minutes from Heinz Field. It was soooo nice hosting everyone. Mom will get her chance over Christmas.

Well, John Patrick is getting bigger and brighter by the second. Last night while I was showering, he climbed out of his crib to find me. I was sooo shocked to see him and he just smiled and waved at me. I was just happy he did not hurt himself. After I got my pajamas on, I put him back in the crib, so he could show me just how he did it. As soon as he stepped foot in that crib he grabbed the side and swung his leg up, grabbed the edge with his toes and worked his way over. I guess it is time for the toddler bed. He has no fear, soon I guess he will be climbing all the gates we have put up. He is no longer a baby, he will be two in February.

Well, I hope everyone enjoys there holiday with family and friends. Be safe and remember to always BELIEVE!!!

Orlando Trip

The Martin family just recently took an awesome vacation to Orlando. One of my favorite places to visit. We took the little monkey to Disney World!! He loved it, he was on rides I would have never thought he would like. He truly had a magical time, as did the rest of the Martin clan. Thanks to Grammy and Pops Martin for a wonderful family vacation none of else will forget.

John Patrick wore his daddy's 1981 Mickey Mouse shirt, the one his daddy wore on his first trip to Disney World. How cool!!!

Cars, Cars and Cars

John Patrick is obsessed with cars and trucks. He loves playing with them, riding them and watching them. He will lay down on the ground beside his truck or car and watch the wheels to make sure they are working properly. Plus, they all have to be on the hardwood floor, they will not run as fast on the carpet. Well, he still says mommy, daddy and doggie but that is about it. Thank goodness for sign language!!! They say that boys are delayed and before you know it you wish they were not talking soooo much.

Summer is Over

Well, it seems like August lasted a week. Where did it go?? Well, for one John Patrick turned 18 months and had to have a booster shot at his well visit. It made him very sick. He ran a fever for 3 days with a snotty nose. We missed out on Labor Day weekend. No football game, no nothing, but laying in bed with my sick man. He has now recovered and is back to his old self. I wanted to share some of his pics that were taken at JC Penney August 25th. He was a nightmare, he did not understand why he had to sit in one spot by himself, it was worse than getting shots. He finally warmed up after the photographer left the room and let him play a little. I lured him with Goldfish Pretzels. You will notice them in some pics. Oh, well. Good memories.

Children's Museum

John Patrick and I had a blast today at the Children's Museum in downtown Pittsburgh. John Patrick wore himself out. We were there for about 4 hours and did not stop. So much to do and for those of you who know John Patrick he likes to be busy. This was like heaven for him.

Proofreading

I really need to start proofreading better. I am always in such a hurry and it doesn't help that my husband superglued the spacebar. You have to pound it to get a space. However, I was reading my blog after I posted it and realized that there were typos. For one we "accepted" Uncle Pat's invitation to Family Day, not excepted. Plus there was a couple more. Very sorry!!!

Mountaineer Field

Uncle Patrick Liebig (Mary Grace's finacee) invited us for Family Day at Mountaineer Field on Sunday and of course we excepted. John Patrick had a ball, except the heat got to him a little. After the funfilled day in Morgantown we headed back to the Burgh. John Patrick turned 18 months today, OMG!!! So we got this morning and headed for the Pittsburgh Zoo. J.P. loves the sea lions. Here are some pics from the last couple of days. Plus some from the farm in Braxton County.

Back in WV

John Patrick and I headed home this past weekend for our cousin T.J.'s wedding. It was nice to see everyone and catch up. T.J. married Amanda Boggs for those of you from Braxton County. What a beautiful bride and a beautiful wedding. J.P. and Pappi John ended up leaving early and headed back to the farm to ride four wheelers and horses, way more fun than a wedding. At least for the men. After being in Braxton for a couple of days we headed to Morgantown to visit Grammy and Pops Martin. John Patrick got his first tricycle and loved it. Even though he couldn't reach the pedals yet, but it will not be too long. We will be heading back to Morgantown for the KLM properties picnic on Saturday. I am sure we will be spending many weekends in Morgantown since Mountaineer football season is just around the corner. YEAH!!

Summer Fun

It has been a long time. I keep telling myself, "You need to blog". We have been so busy, my last blog was right before Christmas. After that we were in Florida for 2 1/2 months, then John Patrick turned one. Crazy!!!! Then summer came and it seems like every weekend we either have a golf tournament that Jason is playing in or we have family gatherings, birthdays or weddings. We did have a special treat right after 4th of July, friends of ours from Florida came in and stayed with us for a week. They have a little 5 months old little girl named Olivia. What a cutie!!! We forgot how much we missed them. Here are some pics from the summer. I promise to be better about keeping up on my blog.
